Waste Disposal Guidelines

Waste Disposal Guidelines

Proper waste management is a responsibility shared by all of us and contributes significantly to maintaining a clean, healthy, and sustainable municipality. The Municipality of Amathounta presents the Guide to Proper Waste Disposal, providing useful information and practical guidance on the correct use of waste bins and recycling systems.

Through the guide, residents can learn about:

• The correct disposal of everyday household waste.
• The materials that are allowed and not allowed to be placed in waste bins.
• The proper use of PMD and Paper Recycling systems.
• The operation and available services of the Green Point.
• The importance of keeping waste bins in good condition.

Through small daily habits, we can all contribute to reducing waste, protecting the environment, and improving the quality of life in our community.

A clean municipality starts with us!
