Important Notices

Before a reduction in refuse collection fees is approved, an on-site inspection will be carried out to confirm that a home composting system is installed and used at the property and that composting is actively being carried out.

If the application is approved, the Municipality may conduct unannounced on-site inspections to verify that home composting is ongoing. If it is found that composting has stopped, the approval will be revoked.
