Meet the Mayor
The Mayor of Municipality of Amathounta, Mr. Kyriakos Xydias, is committed to staying close to the community by listening to residents' needs, suggestions, and concerns.
With the aim of encouraging direct communication and strengthening the relationship between the Municipality and its residents, he has introduced Residents' Day, a new initiative that gives every resident the opportunity to meet the Mayor in person.
Residents' Day
As part of this initiative, the Mayor welcomes residents to his office without the need for a prior appointment to discuss matters relating to their daily lives, their neighbourhoods, and the future development of the Municipality of Amathounta.
Residents' Day is an open channel of communication, built on transparency, cooperation, and mutual respect.
