Bulky Waste & Garden Waste Collection Upon Request
The Municipality of Amathounta provides a bulky waste and garden waste collection service upon request by residents, for materials that cannot be disposed of through the regular waste collection system.
This category includes, among others, furniture, mattresses, wooden items, large household items, tree and shrub cuttings, and other garden waste.
Service Conditions
The service is provided only upon request to the Health Services Department.
Payment must be made in advance before collection.
Waste materials must be separated by type.
The placement of bulky waste or garden waste in public areas without prior notification and approval from the Department is prohibited.
The collection of mixed materials is carried out only upon approval and is subject to an increased charge.
Collection Fees
The charges are determined based on the type of vehicle required for the removal of the materials and whether the materials are separated or mixed.
